The World Today
Energy management is more crucial than ever. By mastering energy costs, businesses can reduce expenses while fulfilling their ESG commitments—an increasing priority for clients. However, the challenge of optimizing energy usage is compounded by the growing shortage of qualified HVAC technicians.
The traditional approaches
To save energy, most of the properties are replacing old equipment with energy-efficient ones (solar panels, heat pumps, new generation chillers…). This approach is going into the right direction, but it requires a lot of material resources. In addition, the advertised returns can be disappointing financially, with the return on investment often taking decades.
While upgrading equipment to more energy-efficient solutions is a positive step, it is only part of the equation. The real challenge lies in the ability to properly maintain and efficiently operate these advanced systems. Human Ressources departments are increasingly struggling to find qualified HVAC technicians, as the demand for skilled professionals far exceeds supply. Traditional recruitment methods, such as job postings and external hiring, are proving to be quite inefficient and time-consuming.
Our visions
“The most interesting equipment, from an ecological and financial point of view, is an equipment that is not purchased and not installed.” J-M Jancovici
Based on this obvious observation, it is more than necessary to optimize the operation of existing equipment. The return on investment is then infinite, as you save energy without investing any money and you obtain immediately visible and calculable results. Even if the buidling’s facilities are old, there are solutions to still reduce its energy consumptions and create huge saving opportunities.
« Investing in your employees is the best investment you can make. The return on that investment is not only improved performance but loyalty and growth. » R Branson
As Richard Branson wisely said, investing in your employees yields not just better performance but also increase loyalty and growth. By providing your team with opportunities to upskill, you are empowering them to meet new challenges and contribute more effectively to your business’s success. Developing your personnel fosters a culture of continuous improvement and helps future-proof your organization. It’s an investment that pays dividends in both the short and long term.
